During the third quarter of 2024, the iOS navigation and maps category in the Czech Republic showcased varied performance metrics among the top applications. According to data from Sensor Tower, Google Maps led the pack with its weekly downloads peaking at approximately 12.3K in mid-July. Although downloads tapered off towards the end of the quarter, its weekly active users remained strong, starting at 655K and ending slightly lower at 613K.

Mapy.cz: maps & navigation maintained a consistent presence with weekly downloads mostly between 9K and 11K during July, before experiencing a gradual decline to about 4.5K by September's end. The app's active user base reflected a similar trend, peaking at 95K in mid-August before decreasing to 83K by the quarter's conclusion.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a modest fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at around 6.6K and reaching a low of 4.1K in early September. However, its active user count showcased resilience, maintaining a steady base around 440K throughout the quarter.

Google Earth experienced relatively stable download numbers, with weekly figures hovering around 1K. Active user numbers for the app were consistent as well, with minor fluctuations, averaging around 7K over the quarter.

Lastly, Úžasná místa - tipy na výlety demonstrated a downward trend in downloads, starting at 3.5K in early July and dropping significantly to just under 140 by the end of September. While data on active users was not available, the download trend suggests a declining interest over the quarter.
